The convention is the most important mining event in the country, bringing together thousands of national and international experts, who present the latest advances in the sector, in different areas. It is also an ideal space for presenting new projects and doing business, but also for promoting the social value of mining and strengthening the mining ecosystem.
In 2021, for the first time, a social section was included that successfully integrated different themes, in line with international trends that vindicate the role of communities in the sustainability of mining; In 2023 we continue this Conscious Dialogue, which determines the future of mining and humanity.
Goal:
Generate spaces for constructive, inclusive and diverse dialogue, involving the mining ecosystem and the general public to inform, participate and co-construct the mining that is necessary for the future of humanity.
Activities:
Thematic panels: spaces for frank discussion considering different angles related to issues of ESG, sustainability, equity, among others.
Magistral lectures: Taught by experts in the field, with recognized experience and on topics of importance according to the program and type of audience.
Good practice posters: space to share, in a graphic and summarized manner, the good practices of mining companies, suppliers or community groups close to mining: human rights and due diligence, community development, environment, equity, governance, occupational health and safety, among others .
